A PERSONAL NOTE FROM PETRA

Born in West Germany, we moved to America when I was a baby and I’ve lived in Central Ohio over 40 years now. I still have family in Germany that I enjoy visiting, however, my immediate family are here in Central Ohio. Germans tend to be industrious, fun loving people, who take a sincere pride in everything they do. These are some of the qualities I bring to you. When visiting Germany, I also enjoy visiting castles ~ my favorite is Neuschwanstein. Each castle is special because it tells the story of families who once lived there.

You’re probably wondering why the “castle” theme for a Columbus real estate website?

My name is not common and I have learned most people can’t pronounce it correctly, let alone remember it (Petra - pronounced “Pay-tra”). Some friends helped me come up with this catchy website name that’s much easier to remember. I thought it was fun and fits because really “Your Home is Your Castle.” I hope you enjoy my website and find it to be the best source for all your Columbus Ohio Real Estate needs!

What My Family Means to You?
I am a wife and a MOM…as well as a Realtor. I believe I have similar values and concerns as you. I care about good education, safe communities and among other things, making sound financial decisions for our future! My first priority is spending time with my husband of 15+ years, Kurt and my son Isaac. Sometimes clients get to meet Isaac because he does enjoy helping his Mommy.

A COLUMBUS OHIO REAL ESTATE SUCCESS STORY

I’ll never forget one of my first clients, Carolyn and Inez Jones. Inez was moving to Columbus Ohio, from Michigan to live with her daughter. I had accepted the challenge of finding them a condo large enough for the two of them and their individual furnishings, while keeping within their budget. I worked with them while I was pregnant with Isaac. Inez would talk to little Isaac along the way and would share stories about motherhood too.

We finally found the perfect Westerville condo in Little Turtle Golf Course Community and planned to close on July 5. Well Isaac decided to come a little early on July 4. So after my water broke around 7:00 am on July 4, I still had to fax some last minute documents to the Title Company and make a few phone calls to solidify the closing, before going to the hospital.
