The South-Western City School District is located in the southern gateway of Columbus, Ohio. The 127-square-mile district encompasses most of the southwestern quadrant of Franklin County, including a substantial portion of the City of Columbus. South-Western is the second largest school district in the county and the sixth largest in Ohio with over 19,000 students. South-Western City Schools received Continuous Improvement on their 2005-2006 district report card meeting 92.6 out of 120 performance index points. However, most of the Grove City schools, themselves, have been rated Excellent or Effective for the 2005-2006 school year. South-Western schools that educate Grove City residents include a public preschool, 17 elementary, 5 intermediate schools, 5 middle, 4 high, 3 special-education schools and 1 career academy. |

PARKS & RECREATION |
Grove City and surrounding area parks not only provide the opportunity to get out among beautiful flora and fauna, but also provide a host of activities for the entire family. Grove City Parks & Rec provides sporting events for all ages as well as a family waterpark, the Big Splash, operating from May-September. Parks & Rec also host yearly events like the community egg hunt, herb plant sale and Blast at Beulah.

COMMUNITY EVENTS & ATTRACTIONS |
The Town Center Inc. also does its part to bring the community together. Running from July 9-September 10 on Saturdays from 8am-noon, is the Farmer's Market where dozens of farmers come to Town Center to sell their produce. Grove City celebrates the arts annually the third weekend in September with Arts in the Alley, a convergence of artists and craftsmen from all around the country. Kicking off the weekend is a community parade, taking place on Saturday morning.
